o.n.c.e
Film critics said that it may well be the best music film of our generation.... and I second that! The story is so real, so simple, yet believable. It captures the real city in all its affluences. If you like Before Sunrise, you gonna love this one--even more. Though it is filled with music from beginning to end, it isn't something like the old musical film. The songs are just great! So moving. It's another recommended movie (and music) for your list!Saturday, January 19, 2008

How Do I Love Thee?
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to useIn my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
It's the first and only season!--created by Aaron Sorkin (the West Wing). It's all about what goes on behind the scenes of a nationwide late-night comedy sketch show. Well thought story lines, likeable casts (Steven Weber, Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, Amanda Peet), smart dialogues, controversial topics, with bits of romance and a whole lot of laugh. But I wonder why it's been pulled off the air too early? ..died too soon for such a brilliant comedy *sigh*Friday, January 4, 2008
*Dial for Coffee*
A Man joined a big Multi National Company as a trainee. On his first day he dialed the pantry and shouted into the phone, "Get me a coffee quickly!" The voice from the other side responded, "You fool you've dialed the wrong extension! Do you know who you're talking to, dumbo?"
"No", replied the trainee.
"It's the Managing Director of the company, you fool!"
The man shouted back, "And do you know who YOU are talking to, you fool?"
"No.", replied the Managing Director.
"Good!", replied the trainee who quickly put down the phone!
-partly cloudy-
I opened my eyes And looked up at the rain, And it dripped in my head And flowed into my brain, And all that I hear as I lie in my bed Is the slishity-slosh of the rain in my head. I step very softly, I walk very slow, I can't do a handstand--I might overflow, So pardon the wild crazy thing I just said--I'm just not the same since there's rain in my head.
